BIO

Apis Mellifera is a traveling bard, with theatrical expressions that guide the emotion of her pieces. Her music ranges from grim to ecstatic, covering an expanse of human experiences, both relatable, and unique. Her lilting tunes and cheeky lyrics capture audience imagination and move their hearts. She's known for her improv, and for dragging other musicians on stage mid-gig for a trial-by-fire collaborative jam.

Currently she's following the folk festival circuit, ranging from Washington to Texas. Her most powerful venues are intimate listening rooms and house shows, so be sure to reach out if you'd like a visit from this whimsical honeybee on her way through your cit.y or on your camping trips.

2025 PERFORMANCES OF NOTE

Faedom

A budding festival produced by the ethereal Dune Moss, Faedom is a call for all mythical creatures to step back into their skins and celebrate in the stunning hills of Wyoming.

South by Southwest

Accompanied by Jesse Garcia on the bass, Apis played at Mozart Coffee in Austin, Texas for the 2025 SXSW showcasing.

Revival: Pando

Performing for her second time, this festival is a mushroom positive event, inspired by The Divine Association, a group of intellectual mystics who use psilocybin as their sacrament. This year there was a team of student researchers from Harvard, seeking to study the connection between ex-cult members,  spiritual phenomenons, and the imbibement of magic mushrooms.

Oregon Country Fair

Performing on two stages at THE most magical festival villages in modern history, OCF is a 53 year old renaissance, built into the forest of Veneta, Oregon.

Dozens of thousands shuffle through the dusty paths over the weekend, and each night are herded out around 7pm.

Some say this is where the true OCF begins, as volunteers emerge from their duties or rests to embark on colorfully psychedelic experiences.

July 25-27 2025
Private Festival

The Family Reunion

Apis is the creator and performer for a non-profit artistic gathering in central Oregon, established in 2021. It has attracted musicians from Texas, Utah, California, and Oregon.

With a capacity maxed at 200 attendees, the event remains an intimate experience comprised almost entirely of artists.

Klamath Music Festival

Held in the charming town of Klamath Falls, Apis will be performing with the likes of Gary Jules (singer of "Mad World").

Texas Woman Songwriters Festival

This will be Apis's first time at this brand-new Lockhart, Texas festival. She's come to know and appreciate many of her fellow artists on the bill, so particularly looks forward to this performance. Her times & locations of performances are still unknown, but will be posted here once she is informed.
